About
Trusted, educational, human.
We sell jadeite, and we would rather explain it than sell it. This page is the long version — where the stones come from, how we choose them, and what we do when something goes wrong.

Act I
Origin
We buy jadeite where it comes out of the ground. That is not a marketing position — it is the only way to know what you are looking at before a stone has been cleaned, sorted and given a story by somebody else.
Almost all gem-quality jadeite forms in one region of northern Myanmar. Working close to that source means we see stones as rough, not as finished inventory someone else has already graded for us.

Act II
Selection
Every stone we list is described by the same four things: colour, water, measurements and flaws. We would rather write a shorter description that is accurate than a longer one that sells.
Type A is our floor, not our selling point. No bleaching, no polymer impregnation, no dye. Surface waxing may be present, and when it is, we say so.

Act III
Trust
Laboratory documentation accompanies our stones, and you can look up the certificate number yourself on this site and on the laboratory's own database. If the two ever disagree, tell us — that is a problem we want to know about.
When something is not right, we would rather fix it than argue about it. Colour is the hardest thing to judge from a photograph, so there is a return window, and it is real.

Still deciding?
Ask us about a specific piece. We would rather talk you out of the wrong one than sell it to you.
